2011: Started all 19 games and earned third-team NSCAA all-region honors with a four-goal, four-assist junior campaign … was named to the MIAA’s second-team and was a first-team CoSIDA academic all-district selection … took 69 total shots, including 30 on goal, and scored a game-winner at SBU on Sept. 24 … was 1-for-1 in penalty kicks, scoring against WU on Oct. 13 … scored points in three straight contests from Oct. 4-13 with assists against MWSU and NWMSU before scoring in the WU match …assisted the game-winning goal against ESU on Oct. 27 … named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and was an MIAA scholar-athlete.
 
2010: Played in and started all 20 games, earning second-team NSCAA all-region and first-team all-MIAA honors … recorded six goals, tying for sixth in the MIAA, and led the squad with seven helpers to share second-place in the league with teammate Kelsey Twellman … tied for first in MIAA with 19 total points …had three game-winning goals, all coming in 1-0 Bulldog victories … led the conference with 71 total shots, including 32 on goal … dished out three assists in a 3-0 home win against Southwest Baptist on Oct. 21 ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and was an MIAA scholar-athlete. 

2009: The MIAA freshman of the year and a first-team NSCAA all-region selection … played in all 22 games, coming off the bench for all but two of them, in leading the squad with 12 goals and 24 total points … took 38 shots, putting 21 on goal, en route to recording six game-winning tallies … converted both penalty kick opportunities … scored multiple-goals twice … scored in six straight matches spanning from Sept. 12 – Oct. 2 … provided the game-winner in four separate 1-0 Truman victories, including in the 109th minute of a double-overtime win at Missouri Western on Oct. 1 … provided both game-winners against Washburn … averaged more than one point per game and nearly two shots per appearance ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and was an MIAA scholar-athlete. 

High School: Hayes started all four years for head coach Paul Hoelscher at Clayton High School and was voted the team’s offensive player of the year three times. She earned conference player of the year honors and was named second-team all-metro following her senior season. Hayes also picked up honorable mention all-metro accolades following her sophomore and junior seasons and won Missouri state club soccer championships in 2005, 2007 and 2008. She scored nearly 70 goals and averaged nearly ten assists per season through her first three high school years.
