2017: D2CCA Honorable-Mention All-American, D2CCA First-Team All-Midwest Region, NFCA Second-Team All-Midwest Region, First-Team All-GLVC (first Truman catcher ever to do so three times in career), and GLVC Player of the Week on both March 6 and April 25 ... One of six Bulldogs to start all 63 of the team's games (school record) ... broke the school record for RBI in a season with 62 by besting Elizabeth Economon's mark of 59 that had stood for nine years ... capped off one of the most successful careers in the history of Truman State University softball ... for the career charts, Van Nostrand finished first in fielding percentage (.995), third in total bases (390), third in RBI (152), third in runs scored (146), fourth in at-bats (666), fourth in hits (238), fifth in doubles (47), tied for fifth in home runs (33), seventh in average (.357), and eighth in stolen bases (47) ... the Palmyra, Mo. native took a page out of Cal Ripken Jr.'s book and was as dependable as anyone over her four seasons in the Purple and White as she played in 213 of Truman's 218 games with 211 starts ... during that span, Van Nostrand was a part of four NCAA Tournament teams and two with at least 40 wins ... nationally, the veteran backstop finished first in sacrifice flies (7), 12th in RBI (62), 16th in total bases (140), 19th in doubles (18), 21st in hits (80), 24th in home runs (14), 58th in slugging percentage (.700), and was the 91st-toughest to strikeout ... Midwest Region: first in sacrifice flies, second in RBI, second in total bases, third in home runs, fourth in doubles, sixth in hits, ninth in slugging, 15th in on-base percentage (.462), 16th in average (.400), and was the 18th-toughest to strikeout ... GLVC: first in sacrifice flies, tied for first in doubles, second in runs (50), second in hits, second in RBI, tied for second in home runs, tied for second in walks (27), fourth in at-bats (200), fifth in average, fifth in slugging, sixth in OBP, and tied for eighth in stolen bases (16) ... second on the team to Reisinger in multi-hit games with 25 including 18 with two and seven with three ... first on the squad in games with at least two RBI with 17 including 10 with two, five with three, one with four (game one vs. Wayne State College on March 1), and one with six (game two at Missouri S&T on April 2) ... longest hitting streak of her senior season was 10 games and lasted from March 11-24 ... during those 10 games, Van Nostrand hit a blistering .486 with 17 hits in her 35 at-bats ... those same 10 games equaled her longest reached-base streak of the year at 10 games ... hit the second and third grand slams of her career with one against Wayne State College on March 1 and another at Missouri S&T on April 2 ... named Academic All-GLVC.

2016: One of five Bulldogs to start all 50 of the team's games ... hit .253 (40-for-158) with 30 runs, eight doubles (first on the team), one triple, eight home runs, 35 RBI (first on the team), and 74 total bases ... slugged .468 with a .305 on-base percentage ... was 8-of-9 in stolen bases and attempts ... was uncanny behind the plate as she didn't commit a single error in 383 chances with 343 putouts and 40 assists ... at the plate, she had three hits against both Huntington on Feb. 26 and Central Missouri on March 7 ... in that game against Huntington, she was incredible with the lumber as she went 3-for-4 with two runs, five RBI and a pair of home runs ... those two three-hit games were part of a stretch (Feb. 26-March 7) in which she was a combined 9-for-20 and raised her average from .185 to .256 ...  named third-team all-GLVC ... named all-Academic GLVC.


2015: A first-team NFCA all-region, first-team Daktronics all-region, and first-team all-GLVC catcher … batted .394 in 48 starts behind the plate, with a team-leading 11 doubles, two triples, six home runs, and 30 RBI … stole a team-best 16 bases on 18 attempts and posted a .987 fielding percentage on nearly 315 total attempts … had 18 multi-hit games, including five games with at least three base hits … will carry an eight-game reached-base streak in the 2016 season … went 4-for-4 with two stolen bases in a March 30 game against Drury … had another 4-for-4 game, this time with four RBI and two runs scored against Northwest Missouri on April 14 … went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a double in NCAA Midwest regional opener against Ashland on May 8 … reached a season-high watermark of .415 at the plate after a 3-for-4 game against McKendree on March 21 … never dropped below .370 at the plate after March 25 … hit .833 (10-for-12)  against left-handed pitching and drove in 12 2-out RBI.
 
2014: Named to the GLVC first-team at catcher after batting .373 with 10 doubles, five home runs and 25 RBI as a true freshman … recorded 12 multi-hit and five multi-RBI games, with a 10-game hitting streak and an 18-game reached base streak … tallied seven three-hit games along with a four-hit game, coming in the GLVC tournament opening round against Lewis on May 2, where she went 4-for-4 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI … performed in the clutch with 11 of her 25 RBI coming with two out … hit .536 when leading off an inning (15-for-28) and scored a runner from third six times in eight tries with less than two out … advanced runners at least one base in 54% of her at-bats in those situations … posted a .946 OPS on the season … named Academic all-GLVC.
 
High School
A three-sport athlete, competing in softball, basketball and track at Palmyra … started and lettered four seasons in softball … helped guide her team to a state title in 2011 … was named all-conference, all-district and all-region in all four seasons while also picking up all-state honors three times … also garnered all-conference and all-district accolades in basketball and track … a member of the National Honor Society and the Society of Academic Achievement … competed with the Worth Prospects club program.

Daughter of Tom and Ann Van Nostrand … is majoring in Exercise Science … birthday is June 6.
