Truman
2018: Played in 24 of the team's 46 games with 11 starts, all of which came in the outfield ... her 13 other appearances were as a pinch-hitter ... hit .136 (6-for-44) with two runs scored, one double, one RBI, four walks, one sacrifice hit, and a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with 11 putouts ... her first eight appearances were all starts and she had a hit in three of those eight games including a 2-for-3 performance with a double on Feb. 9 vs. No. 11 Lee in Huntsville, Ala. ... named Academic All-GLVC ... recipient of the GLVC Brother James Gaffney, FSC Distinguished Scholar Award for achieving a 4.0 grade point average ... recipient of the GLVC Council of Presidents' Academic Excellence Award for finishing eligibility with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5.

2017: Appeared in 29 games with 25 starts including 14 in right field and 11 as the designated player ... hit .257 (19-for-74) with eight runs scored, five doubles, 10 RBI, 24 total bases, eight walks, one hit-by-pitch, one sacrifice fly, two sacrifice hits, and two stolen bases in three attempts ... started her junior season on fire as she was 10 of her first 20 (.500 batting average) with three runs scored, two doubles, one walk, and a stolen base ... despite having two hits in four of her first five games, she did so in only twice in her next 24 games played ... those two instances came against Wisconsin-Parkside on March 18 and McKendree on March 24 ... her one game with multiple RBI was in that Wisconsin-Parkside contest when she was 2-for-3 with two RBI, a double and a walk ... named Academic All-GLVC ... recipient of the GLVC Brother James Gaffney, FSC Distinguished Scholar Award for achieving a 4.0 grade point average.

2016: Hit .200 (6-for-30) while making a total of 21 appearances, seven of which were as a starter ... totaled four runs scored, two RBI and six total bases ... two of her six hits came against Illinois Springfield on March 12 in the second game of that doubleheader ... also had a hit against North Alabama on Feb. 20, Maryville on April 2, Bellarmine on May 1, and Missouri-St. Louis on May 1 ... in that Maryville contest, she was 1-for-1 with two RBI on a seventh-inning single ... that hit against the Saints tied the game in the top of the seventh before Ashley Murphy brought in the go-ahead run after reaching on an error ... converted her only stolen base attempt of the season on Feb. 12 against Henderson State ... named all-Academic GLVC.

2015:  Made 14 appearances as a hitter and five appearances as a pitcher during her true freshman campaign, totaling 29 at-bats and 10.1 innings in the circle ... served primarily as a pinch-hitter and designated player at the plate, recording six RBI and seven total bases ... made two scoreless outing as a pitcher, including one against Indianapolis on April 26 with a strikeout ... went 4-for-7 at the plate with runners in scoring position ... named Academic all-GLVC.

High School
A two-sport athlete who competed both in softball and basketball, Orenstein joins the Bulldog program after being named first-team all-conference and first-team all-district all four
seasons on the diamond. As a SS/P during her senior season, she hit .405 with 20 RBI at the plate while also tossing 98 innings of 1.40 ERA ball to accumulate a 13-2 record in the circle. Kadie made the all-Southeast Missourian softball team three times and was named the Southeast Missourian Player of the Year after her junior season, where she also hit better than .400. A member of the Heartland Pride club team, Orenstein was a member of the National Honor Society and was twice named Academic all-state.
 
Personal
The daughter of Gary and Wendi Orenstein ... has two younger brothers ... is majoring in Exercise Science ...  birthday is January 30.
