Pace University
She started two years at Pace University in Pleasantville, NY—near New York City. She was named to the Academic Honor Roll Fall and Spring in 2018 and 2019 and to the Dean's List in 2018 and 2019. On the court she appeared in 49 matches over two years with 18 starts. She finished second on the team with 365 assists her freshman year and third on the team with 149 her sophomore year.

High School
Motz played both volleyball and track at Cedar Park High School and started for three years on the volleyball team, lettering twice. She was named Academic All-State in 2018, won District titles in 2014 and 2015, won the Afflerbaugh Award in 2017, Summer Volleyball Player of the Year in 2016 and Teammate Award. She played club with Austin Juniors, Fury and Max Performance.

She also stood out in the classroom as a member of the National English Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, HOSA, National Honor Society, National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists Award, President's Award for Educational Excellence.

Personal
She is the daughter of Andrew (a police officer) and Lynn (a nurse) Motz and has three siblings: Briana, Casey and Shelby.

Her anticipated major at Truman is Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
