Truman State University Athletics

2010: Started in 49 of 55 games and posted a .243 batting average with 8 multi-hit games…held a 5 game hitting streak…went 3 for 4 in the win against Maryville (Feb. 19)…13 RBI’s for the year…held a 1.000 fielding percentage in 58 chances…12 stolen bases including two games with three stolen bases.

2009: Started 34 of 35 games played with five multi-hit games … went 3-for-3 with an RBI in victory over Wisconsin-Parkside (Mar. 6) was 2-for-3 in victory over Tarleton State (Mar. 15) … had a double that scored two runs in the Bulldogs 5-run sixth inning against Missouri Western (Apr. 1) … recorded five hits in seven at bats with two runs scored and an RBI in a double-hitter against Washburn (Apr. 8) … hit .244 in 16 conference games … was 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts.

High School: Was named to the all-district softball team following both her junior and senior seasons…captain of both the softball and soccer squads...broke career runs scored record and member of the 2005 Class 4A state championship squad…was a four-time all-district soccer player…awarded the Carl Vogel award, given to junior at Helias who had contributed the most to the athletics program…was named the Hawthorne Bank athlete of the month.

Personal: Born Apr. 4, 1990 …daughter of Phil and Patti Pitts…brother Andrew played for the Bulldog football and baseball teams…is an exercise science major.
