Biography

Before Truman:
Gowin earned all-conference honorable mention at defensive back as a sophomore and junior before receiving second-team all-conference honors at linebacker and first-team all-district recognition as a senior. He was named Staley Defensive Player of the Year in both his junior and senior seasons. Over his final two seasons, he recorded 160 tackles, one sack and two interceptions.
