High School: Venner was selected to the Omaha World Herald All-Metro first team as a kicker for the Vikings of Omaha North. During his senior season, Venner averaged 48.1 yards per kickoff with six touchbacks, had 20 of his 21 punts inside the opponent 20 yard line, and made 43 of 45 point after attempts. He set school career records for PATs with 88 of 90 and was 11-of-19 in field goal tries. Venner is a member of the National Honor Society and plans on a major in Biology at Truman. Jared is the son of Don and Lisa Venner.
