High School: Averaged 7.5 tackles per game as a senior and earned honorable mention all-state…was a two-time first team all-district selection for the Mustangs and was part of the first class to make the Texas Class 5 playoffs three straight years…had 28 tackles in final three games of the season with 11 against McAllen and Pharr-San Juan Alamo…has earned honorable mention all-district honors as a two year starter on the Mustangs basketball team.
