Truman
2019-20: The senior went out with a bang as he had one of the best individual seasons in Truman history. Thomas racked up four GLVC Player of the Week awards (11/25, 12/2, 1/27, 2/10) as well as numerous other awards--GLVC Player of the Year (first Bulldog to win the award since Mike Carlson in 2013-14), GLVC All-Tournament Team and Tournament MVP, named First Team All-Region D2CCA and to NABC All-District Team...set a new Truman record with 666 points in a season and was fifth in Truman history in scoring average at 21.5 points per game...also fourth with 228 field goals made in a season as well as fifth in attempts with 459...notched four double-doubles (22 points and 12 rebounds at William Jewell 1/2, 27 points and 12 rebounds vs UMSL 2/8--finished two assists short of a triple-double, 32 points and 14 rebounds against UIndy 3/7, and 25 points 10 rebounds vs UMSL 3/8)...led team with 83 three pointers which ranked sixth in the GLVC and his .417 percentage from downtown was sixth in the conference; 83 made treys was tied for fourth most in a single season in Truman history...his season high in points came in the regular season finale at Missouri S&T in which he scored 34 points, one short of his career high...finished his career with 1,500 points which is fifth in program history, as well as fifth in scoring average with 18.8 points per game...finished his career fourth in blocked shots with 84 and tenth in steals with 128...286 assists is ninth in program historyÂ
2018-19: Named first team all-GLVC for the second straight year and named to all-defensive team…first unanimous member of the all-conference team since Mike Carlson in 2013-14…second player in program history to be named to the all-defensive team twice…finished the season fourth in the conference in points per game with 18.3 (413 total points), which was highest among returning players… scored a season high 35 points against Maryville on January 19… eclipsed 20 points ten times over the course of the season…second in blocks per game with 1.3…had multiple runs of three straight games exceeding 20 points (Graceland-at Lewis-at Indianapolis from 12/29 to 1/5 and Missouri-St. Louis-Maryville-Illinois Springfield from 1/17 to 1/24)…averaged 6.6 rebounds per game, sixth highest in the GLVC, grabbed double digit rebounds twice (ten at Lewis and a season high 12 against Missouri-St. Louis)…averaged 1.2 steals and 3.2 assists per game, shot 47.8% from the field…had double-doubles at Lewis (28 points and 10 rebounds) and against Missouri-St. Louis (22 points and 12 rebounds)…second on team with 75 assists… led team in free throw percentage at 82.2% (88-107), good for tenth best in the GLVC; went 13-13 from the stripe at Lewis, which was the most makes without a miss in any game by any player...led team in blocks for the second straight season with 28—1.2 per game which was the second best in the GLVC, also led the team in steals for the second straight season with 30 (1.3 per game, tenth highest in the GLVC)… currently eighth in program history per game scoring average with 17 points per game…enters the season third in program history in blocked shots average
2017-18: Mr. Versatility, plain and simple. After battling back from an early-season injury through the first five games of the year, Thomas appeared in 26 of the team's 31 games while making 25 starts ... among team ranks, Thomas was first in blocks per game (1.2), first in steals per game (1.7), first in assists per game (4.2), second in rebounds per game (6.2), second in defensive rebounds per game (5.1), second in offensive rebounds per game (1.1), second in minutes played per game (31.7), third in points per game (16.2), and fifth in field goal percentage (.475) ... named First-Team All-GLVC/All-Defensive on Feb. 26 and a GLVC All-Tournament Team member along with Jake Velky in March 4 ... became the first Bulldog to earn top-team honors in his first season playing with the program since Scott Matthews in 1993-94 ... among the GLVC's statistical ranks, Thomas was tied for third in blocks per game, tied for third in steals per game, tied for sixth in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.9), seventh in assists per game, 11th in points per game, 14th in field goal percentage, tied for 17th in rebounds per game, and 19th in minutes played per game ... scored just two points in 13 minutes in his Truman debut on Nov. 28 vs. Lincoln, but still had two assists, one block and a steal before breaking out the next game on Dec. 2 vs. Missouri-St. Louis ... that night against the Tritons, Thomas played 39 minutes with 25 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals on 7-of-14 shooting, 4-for-7 from deep and 7-of-9 at the free throw line ... the best performance of any Bulldog came from Thomas on Jan. 11 at Missouri S&T when he nearly had a triple-double with 34 points (Truman season high), 12 assists (Truman season high) and nine rebounds to go with a block and a steal in 34 minutes ... his season blocked shots average of 1.2 is tied for ninth in program history ... went for 20 or more points six times and 25 or more twice with the 34 points being joined by that 25 in his second-ever game as a Bulldog ... had at least 10 rebounds in a game three times ... those represented three of his four double-doubles with the other being the 12-assist effort at Missouri S&T.

Was a member of the Truman men's basketball program during the 2015-16 season, but redshirted ... helped Southwestern Community College to an NJCAA National Championship with a record of 36-1 and was named MVP of the National Tournament ... First-Team All-Conference, Second-Team All-American, named to the All-Region XI Tournament Team and was a three-time ICCAC Player of the Week ... averaged 14.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game while shooting 54.2 percent from the floor and 40.3 percent from behind the arc.
