Julian Brown arrives at Truman State with extensive Division I experience and a proven track record as a combo guard. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound senior spent the past two seasons at Samford, appearing in 27 games and averaging 4.1 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per contest. He posted a season high of 15 points against Mercer, adding two assists and two steals. Before Samford, Brown played two years at Wagner, where he saw the floor in 53 games and averaged 7.8 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists while shooting 37.3 percent from beyond the arc. His sophomore season marked a breakout, as he elevated his production to 10.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.

A standout at Bergen Catholic, Brown earned All-Bergen County honors twice, along with First Team All-Big North Division and Second Team All-North Jersey recognition. He averaged 15.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, three assists, and 1.6 steals in his senior season. Head coach Mike Worley says, “Julian is a proven combo shooter and scorer. He plays with an edge, is passionate about his craft, and wants to get better every day.”
