2011-12: Played in 27 of 28 games as a true freshman, averaging 3.6 points and 3.4 rebounds per game ... shot 39% from the field, averaging 18.1 minutes per game ... scored a season-high 11 points on Jan. 28 against Emporia State ... added 10 points against both Washburn (Dec. 10) and Northwest Missouri (Jan. 7) ... added a season-best eight rebounds (four offensive) and three blocks against WU on Dec. 10 ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Played at Valley High School, where he averaged 16 points and 11 rebounds per game as a senior. During his senior season, the 6-foot-5 forward was named first-team all-CIML and was an honorable mention all-state award winner. Anderson was the MVP of the 2011 CIML all-star game that featured four division I players after leading his squad to a 16-7 record during the season.
