Biography

Before Truman:
Kain comes to Truman after competing at Iowa Central Community College, where she earned second-team All-ICCAC honors in 2024-25, first-team All-ICCAC recognition in 2025-26 and second-team NFCA Midwest All-Region honors in 2025-26. She hit .393 over two seasons and .425 as a sophomore while helping Iowa Central go 49-12 and reach the national tournament in 2024-25. In high school, Kain was a three-year softball and tennis letterwinner, earned all-conference softball recognition twice and hit .400 as a senior.
