Biography

2022 Season: Started 15 of 26 games offensively and was a pitcher in 19 games, making five starts…opened the season with a 3-for-3 day with two doubles and a walk with 3 RBI against Wayne State on February 18…drove in four runs with two doubles and a home run in victory over Northwest Missouri on March 2…was 1-4 in the circle with 17 strikeouts in 33 innings pitched…named to the Academic All-GLVC team.

2021 Season: Started 22 of 26 games and pitched another nine games with one start…hit .211 with 12 hits, 12 runs scored, three doubles, two triples and one home run with 11 RBIs…had five RBIs with a two-run triple and bases clearing double against Wayne State College on February 27…hit a grand slam in the fifth inning to break a 1-1 tie against Minnesota Crookston in the first game of the season…picked up her only win pitching by going three innings in relief in a 6-4 victory over Southwest Baptist on May 2nd.

High School: Competed in both softball and track & field ... started and lettered all four years on the softball diamond as she was four-time All-District, four-time All-Conference, three-time All-Region, and All-State ... holds the school record for most shutouts (tied), season wins and strikeouts ... for track and field, she was two-time All-District, All-Conference, two-time All-State, and is the school record holder for the javelin ... member of the National Honor Society and was named Academic All-State.

Personal: Daughter of Justin and Susan West ... has two older siblings named Emily and Jason ... plans or major in pre-med or biology.
