Truman
2018: Played in 41 of the team's 46 games as a junior while making starts in 34 of them, both of which were career highs ... in those 41 appearances, her line included a .200 batting average (16-for-80), 17 runs (third on the team), one double (game one vs. Drury on March 25), two home runs (personal best), five RBI, 11 walks, eight hit-by-pitches (team best), and eight stolen bases in 10 attempts ... the first of those two shots came in game one vs. Lincoln on March 21 and the second was on the road at Southwest Baptist for game one on April 4 ... that blast to right center against the Bearcats that put the Bulldogs up 3-0 was essentially the go-ahead home run as the Purple and White held on for the 3-2 victory ... registered four multi-hit games of which were split evenly between GLVC play and nonconference action ... named Academic All-GLVC ... recipient of the GLVC Brother James Gaffney, FSC Distinguished Scholar Award for achieving a 4.0 grade point average.
2017: Appeared in 37 of the team's 63 games with 15 starts, all of which came as the right fielder early in the season ... down the stretch of 2017, her playing time was primarily as a pinch-runner ... hit .172 (5-for-29) with 18 runs scored, one double, two RBI, six total bases, four walks, five hit-by-pitches, one sacrifice fly, and three stolen bases in three attempts ... had one hit in five games including Saginaw Valley State on Feb. 17, Lincoln on Feb. 21, Ferris State on Feb. 25, Ohio Dominican on Feb. 25, and Drury on April 1 ... notched an RBI vs. both Lincoln on Feb. 21 and Ferris State on Feb. 25 ... had a game with two walks at Lincoln in the second game of that doubleheader on Feb. 21 ... named Academic All-GLVC ... recipient of the GLVC Brother James Gaffney, FSC Distinguished Scholar Award for achieving a 4.0 grade point average.
2016: Played in a total of 32 games with 30 starts during her true-freshman campaign ... hit .173 (14-for-81) with nine runs scored, one home run, six RBI, and 17 total bases ... one of her best offensive outputs came in game one against Illinois Springfield on March 12 when she was 3-of-3 with one run, one RBI and a homer ... registered two hits against both Lewis (March 19) and Saint Joseph's (April 24) ... three of her six RBI came in one game vs. Lewis on March 19 and she was 2-for-3 with a run scored, as well ... converted on five of her seven stolen base attempts ... named all-Academic GLVC.
High School
Mooney joins the Bulldog program after starting and lettering four seasons at Libertyville High School, where she batted .355 with an on-base percentage of .435 as a senior. She was named to the North Suburban all-conference team in 2015, one season after helping her squad secure the program's first regional championship in 26 years as a junior. Named a 2015 Illinois State Scholar, Mooney was also selected to the National Honor Society and was a PSAE Scholar.
