Truman
2018: Turned in another all-conference caliber season after starting 45 of the team's 46 games ... named Second-Team All-GLVC on May 2 and became the first Bulldog in 13 years (Courtney Strubel) to be a two-time all-conference designated player, but was the first ever to be as high as the second team twice ... was hitting just .242 after the Indianapolis series on April 13 and had recorded just four multi-hit games in her first 33 outings of the year before doing so three times in the next 10 games ... in that 10-game stretch, McMahan hit .385 (10-for-26) with three runs scored, two home runs, six RBI, 16 total bases, a .615 slugging percentage, and a .484 on-base percentage ... those same 10 games, Christa Reisinger moved to the cleanup spot in the lineup for the first time in her career and McMahan was able to provide some protection behind the two-time All-American ... overall, the DP's line included a .268 average (34-of-127), 16 runs, seven doubles, four home runs, 22 RBI, 53 total bases, a .417 slugging percentage, 18 walks, three sacrifice hits, and three stolen bases ... two of her four round-trippers came in that 10-game stretch mentioned earlier and she finished with a flurry to earn all-league accolades ... named Academic All-GLVC.

2017: Appeared in 53 of the team's 63 games with 49 starts as a sophomore in 2017 ... of those 53 appearances, 48 were as the designated player, two were as an outfielder and the final three were as a pinch-hitter ... named NFCA Second-Team All-Midwest Region on May 10 and Second-Team All-GLVC on May 3 ... she became the first Bulldog to be named First-Team All-Region by the NFCA in 11 years since Loni Wedemeier received the honor as a senior in 2006 ... hovered around the .300 mark all season, but finished at .295 (49-for-166) with 16 runs scored, 11 doubles, three home runs, 25 RBI, 69 total bases, a .416 slugging percentage, 16 walks, a .357 on-base percentage, one sacrifice hit, and three stolen bases in three attempts ... hit the second grand slam of her career when she cleared the bases at Missouri S&T on April 2 ... tallied four hits against both McKendree on March 24 (game one) and Missouri S&T on April 2 (game two) ... that same game at S&T, McMahan registered three runs scored and five RBI, the most she's batted in since her freshman year when she had four at Quincy (game one) on March 29, 2016 ... had nine multi-hit games including six with two, one with three and two with four that were mentioned earlier ... also had five multi-RBI games, the third-longest hitting streak on the team with 11 games and the squad's second-longest reached-base streak with 19 games ... named Academic All-GLVC.

2016: Appeared in a total of 25 games while making 18 starts as a true freshman ... hit .186 with 11 hits in her 59 at-bats to go with three runs scored, one double, two home runs, 11 RBI, and 18 total bases ... her biggest game of the season came on Feb. 13 against Northeastern State when she got the start and went 2-for-3 with an RBI ... went 3-of-10 (.300) at the plate in her first three games of the season ... homered against both Ohio Dominican on Feb. 27 and Quincy on March 29 ... her one double was at Maryville in game two of the doubleheader on April 2 ... named all-Academic GLVC.


High School
McMahan (pronounced Mc-Man) comes to Truman after having competed at a high level both on the softball field and the basketball court at Blue Springs High School. She was a four-year starter in softball and a three-year starter on the hardwood, helping her teams to a combined three state runner-up finishes. McMahan was a two-time all-district award winner and was named both second-team all-region and first-team all-conference in softball. A member of the National Honor Society and academic all-state.

Daughter of Scott and Sara McMahan ... has one younger brother ... is majoring in Biology .. birthday is September 5.
