Before Truman:
Sternau earned IHSSCA All-State honors in 2026 after receiving All-Sectional recognition in 2025. She was a first-team Southwestern Conference selection from 2024-26 after earning second-team honors in 2023. Sternau recorded seven goals and two assists in 2026.
