High School: Freshman defender Tessa Paradis joins the program following an accomplished high school career at Elkhorn South, where she helped lead her team to consistent postseason success. Paradis was a state semifinalist as a senior, a district finalist as a junior, a district semifinalist as a sophomore, and reached the state quarterfinals as a freshman. She earned numerous honors, including NSAA Academic All-State, Omaha World-Herald All-Metro Second Team, and Lincoln Journal Star All-State Honorable Mention recognition in both her junior and senior years. A three-time team-voted Defensive Player of the Year and two-year team leader, Paradis built a reputation as a reliable, high-IQ defender who anchored one of Nebraska’s top prep back lines.
