2014:
Ranked third on the squad in both total kills and total blocks, averaging 2.46 and 0.79 respectively as a junior ... recorded 258 total kills, 110 digs, 83 blocks, and 26 service aces in 105 sets and 29 total matches ... tallied 13 double-digit kill matches, including a season-high 17 against NCAA-tournament team Ferris State on Oct. 18 at the GLVC/GLIAC crossover event ... closed the season on a tear, averaging 2.67 kills and 1.00 blocks per set - all while hitting .291 - in the team's five postseason matches ... hit .733 with 12 kills on 15 swings in the NCAA tournament opener against McKendree, after putting down 14 kills on 33 swings just days earlier against McK in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship match ... had a well-balanced match against Drury on Oct. 10, finished the four-setter with 13 kills (.444 hitting percentage), six assists, six digs, and six blocks ... named all-Academic GLVC.

2013: Named to the AVCA All-Region squad after playing in 131 sets as a true sophomore and averaging 2.47 kills and 0.80 blocks per set ... hit .256 overall on the season, posting 19 matches with a .260 or better hitting percentage ... tallied 15 double-figure kill matches, led by an absolutely dominating performance on Nov. 9 at Indianapolis where she posted her first collegiate 20-kill match on just one error for a .487 hitting line ... added three blocks and an assist in the match for 21.5 total points ... totaled 28 kills during first two matches of the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament, including an 18-kill, six-dig effort against host Lewis in the semifinals ... rattled off an impressive seven-match stretch from Sept. 14 through Oct. 2, where she hit .391 overall with 84 total kills on 169 swings ... flirted with a triple-double on two occasions - first in a 12-kill, eight-dig, seven-block match against McKendree on Sept. 29 and then again in the regular season finale at Missouri-St. Louis on Nov. 16, where she put up seven kills, eight digs and nine blocks against the Tritons in a five-set Bulldog victory ... notched her first double-double in the season's second weekend, going for 13 kills and 11 digs against nationally-ranked Florida Southern on Sept. 13 ... finished the season with 15 10+ kill matches and tied for second on the squad with 32 aces.

2012: Earned MIAA Freshman of the Year honors and third-team all-MIAA recognition after finishing third on the squad in total kills (253) and second in hitting percentage (.282) ... averaged 2.22 kills/set and 0.48 blocks/set playing three rotations ... served 35 aces, second-most on the squad for an average of 0.31/set ... had 11 matches with double-figure kills, including a season-high 16 in a four-set win at Missouri Western on Oct. 30 ... totaled 12.5 points in just her third collegiate match with 11 kills and three block assists ... hit .345 with 13 kills in a four-set win at No. 1 Nebraska-Kearney on Oct. 12 ... scored a season-high 19 points behind 14 kills, three aces and four block assists in a four-set home win against Central Oklahoma on Oct. 20 ... hit .583 with zero errors in that match as well ... hit better than .500 in a match six different times ... dug a season-high eight attempts against Harding on Oct. 5 ... had a season-best five blocks against Washburn on Sept. 14 ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

High School
Heise was named second-team all- state as a senior in leading her Lutheran squad to its second straight IHSA Class 1A third-place finish. For her career, she totaled nearly 1,300 kills, 1,300 assists, 550 digs, 300 blocks and 150 aces and was named all-conference four times. She was a Prepvolleyball.com “Freshman 59” Special Mention player and was recognized by the Chicago Sun-Times as one Illinois’ top players as a junior. She is set to play in the 2011 Illinois high school all-star game and recorded a triple-double in this year’s state third-place match.
