2017: Capped off a successful four-year career in 2017 with a First-Team All-GLVC season in which she started 30 of the team's 32 matches with 103 of the 118 sets played ... prior to 2017, Brown had never recorded a double-double with kills and digs before doing so 15 times as a senior including a stretch of four-straight times to begin her final six matches of the year ... in her first three seasons, she reached double-figures in digs just three times, but accomplished that feat 18 times in 2017 ... as a senior, Brown achieved new personal bests in sets played (103), kills (335), kills per set (3.25), total attacks (1,086), assists (10), assists per set (0.10), service aces (31), aces per set (0.30), digs (338), digs per set (3.28), solo blocks (17), block assists (51), total blocks (68), blocks per set (0.66), points (408.5), and points per set (3.97) ... among the best the GLVC, Brown was fourth in aces per set and ninth in kills per set ... was the only Bulldog to go for more than 20 kills in a single match when she went off for 22 on Sept. 23 vs. McKendree ... that day, Brown had just five errors on 60 attacks for a hitting percentage of .283 ... that was also the only occurrence all year in which a Bulldog registered 60 or more total attacks in a single match ... named Academic All-GLVC.
2016: Appeared in 94 of the team's 128 sets and 32 of the squad's 35 matches while making starts in 12 of them ... finished the 2016 regular season as hot as anyone in the GLVC ... in her final nine matches, Brown had 108 kills (15 more than the next-closest Bulldog) to just 26 errors on 284 swings for a red-hot hitting percentage of .289 ... in just the team's last three matches, Brown sent home 42 kills with only eight errors on 97 attempts for an absurd .351 hitting percentage en route to being named Second-Team All-GLVC ... logged 11 matches with at least 10 kills, six of which came in the team's final eight matches ... of her 11 matches with at least 10 kills, her hitting percentage was .300 or above in four of them including an out-of-this-world clip of .520 on Oct. 29 against Saint Joseph's when she had 14 kills and only one error in 25 attempts ... among those 11 with 10+ kills, Brown hit .400 at Rockhurst on Nov. 12 (.425) and vs. Lake Erie on Oct. 15 (.419) and .300 at William Jewell on Nov. 11 (.345) ... sent home at least 10 kills just twice in her first 19 matches before doing so on nine occasions in her final 13 matches ... named Academic All-GLVC.
2015: Played in 26 of the team's 30 matches and a total of 66 sets ... sent home at least 10 kills six times during her sophomore campaign, three of which came in the first three matches of the season ... during that stretch, she accumulated kill totals of 12, 11 and 11 including a .308 hitting percentage in that third match against Western State on Sept. 5 ... the first match against Mary on Sept. 4 and the match vs. Ashland on Oct. 16 were the two times she had 12 kills ... Overall, she had 133 kills at 2.02 per set in 468 total attacks with a .107 hitting percentage ... she also registered 12 service aces, 42 digs, 25 total blocks, and 159.5 total points ... her season-high four digs came on three different occasions including Sept. 12 against Clarion, Oct. 10 against Maryville and Oct. 27 against Missouri Western.
2014:Â Played in 18 matches and 46 sets as a true freshman, averaging 2.67 kills, 1.22 digs, and 0.52 blocks per set ... recorded five double-figure kill matches, including a season-best 26 with just four errors at Missouri S&T on Oct. 11 ... hit .407 in that match and added five blocks for 29.5 total points ... recorded 13 kills in both matches - including one in the NCAA tournament - against Rockhurst ... totaled a season-high 11 digs to go alongside eight kills in two sets against William Jewell on Oct. 3 ... hit better than .250 in six matches and topped the .400 mark twice.
High School
Joined the Bulldog program after a stellar career both for North Shore Senior High School as well as her club, TCA Houston ... named first-team all-district both as a junior and senior, jumping to the top squad after earning second-team all-district accolades as a sophomore ... earned her team's Offensive Player of the Year honors three times during her four years as a varsity starter on the volleyball court ... a member of the National Honor Society ... also was a two-time district champion on the track, earning a high jump title as a freshman before earning a second title as part of a 4x100 relay team during her sophomore season.

Jasmine is the daughter of James and Sharon Brown, and she is a Biology (Pre-Medicine) major at Truman.
