Truman
2017: Picked up right where she left off from her sophomore season as one of the best blockers in not just the GLVC, but all of Division II as well ... was one of only three Bulldogs to play in all 32 of the team's matches and one of just two to make starts in 31 of those 32 matches ... nationally, Brimeyer was eighth in total blocks (153) and 12th in blocks per set (1.31) ... for 2017 in the program's single-season record book, her 139 block assists are second, 1.31 blocks per set are fifth and 153 total blocks are tied for ninth ... for the career record book, the middle hitter is now second all time in blocks per set with a mark of 1.25 ... not only did she continue to wreak havoc above the net, she is transforming herself into an efficient hitter ... hit .304 for the season, which was first on the team and nearly six percent better than her sophomore year with just as many sets played at 117 ... for her career, her hitting percentage is up to .280 and that is good for a tie for sixth in school history ... her 10 block assists at Rockhurst on Nov. 11 are tied for the sixth most in program history ... after playing just as many sets as she did when she was a sophomore, set new career highs for kills (248), kills per set (2.12), total attacks (588), aces (2), digs (35), block assists (139), total blocks (153), blocks per set (1.31), points (333.5), and points per set (2.85) ... named Second-Team All-GLVC on Nov. 16 and was the first Bulldog middle hitter to be recognized since Ali Patterson in 2015 (second team) ... sent home at least 10 kills 11 times including six matches in a row from Oct. 28 to Nov. 10 ... had never registered more than nine kills in a match until this season and her career high came on Sept. 8 vs. No. 9 Augustana when she had 13 to just three errors on 19 swings for a blistering hitting percentage of .526 ... in the 11 matches that she sent home at least 10 kills, she never had more than four errors in any of them with a hitting percentage of at least .300 in all but two of them ... went for 10 total blocks once when she assisted on 10 at Rockhurst on Nov. 11 ... named Academic All-GLVC ... recipient of the GLVC Brother James Gaffney, FSC Distinguished Scholar Award for achieving a 4.0 grade point average.
2016: Proved to be an absolute force above the net as a sophomore for Truman in 2017 as she played in 117 of the team's 128 sets while playing in 33 of the team's 35 matches, 32 of which were as a starter ... among the GLVC's best, Brimeyer was first in total blocks (147), first in blocks per set (1.26), first in block assists (131), and tied for fourth in solo blocks (16) ... nationally, No. 18 was 11th in blocks per set and 12th in total blocks ... on Sept. 14, Brimeyer led the NCAA for total blocks in a three-set match with 10 against North Alabama five days before on Sept. 9 ... for Truman's career record book, the 5-9 middle hitter is already tied for second in blocks per set with 1.20 ... as far as the single-season record book, Brimeyer's 2016 was fourth in block assists, tied for sixth in blocks per set and 10th in total blocks ... her 11 block assists vs. Saint Joseph's on Oct. 29 are tied for second in program history and her 10 in that match vs. North Alabama mentioned earlier are tied for sixth in school history ... in that match against the Pumas in which she had 11 block assists, Brimeyer also sent home seven kills with no errors on 10 total attacks for a blistering .700 hitting percentage ... registered at least five kills in a match 21 times including eight times and a career-high nine vs. McKendree in the GLVC Tournament finals on Nov. 20 ... named Academic All-GLVC.
2015: Appeared in a total of just five matches and six sets ... registered four kills, 0.67 kills per set, two digs, one block assist, and 4.5 total points ... biggest match of the season came against William Jewell on Oct. 3 when she had season highs in kills with three, total attacks with three, digs with two, total blocks with one, and total points with 3.5 ... named all-Academic GLVC.
High School
Helped her squad reached the Iowa High School state semifinals in Class 4A as a senior ... named first-team all-conference twice, including her senior season where she also earned second-team all-state accolades ... 92 blocks as a senior put her in the state's top 10 for the third time, as she capped her career with 243 kills and 255 digs to go alongside her block total ... a member of the Iowa all-state tournament team ... also a star on the track, setting the school record in the shuttle hurdles relay and sprint medley as a three-time state qualifier in eight events.
