Cobb Hubbard joined the Truman State University Athletics staff as Assistant Athletic Director – Operations/Business Manager in 2026. In this role, Hubbard oversees the operational and business functions of the athletics department, working to ensure Bulldog Athletics operates efficiently and at a high level in support of its student-athletes and coaches.
Hubbard comes to Truman State after serving as Athletic Event Manager at Augustana University, where he managed game day operations for 22 athletic programs and more than 150 home events annually. His experience at Augustana included managing both NCAA Division I and Division II environments, overseeing dealership courtesy vehicles, hotel and food trade partnerships, and hiring and training student workers.
Prior to Augustana, Hubbard served as a Graduate Assistant of Sports Operations and Athletic Administration at Clarke University, where he worked closely with athletic administration on home event management, student worker supervision, and department-wide scheduling.
A former collegiate basketball player, Hubbard earned his Master of Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude, from Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa, where he also received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. He holds a cumulative MBA GPA of 3.77 and was named to the Dean's List during his undergraduate career.
