Liz Jorn enters her tenth year as Faculty Athletics Representative (FAR) for the Truman State Athletics Department in 2025-26.
In her role as FAR, Jorn works to ensure student-athlete welfare and the academic integrity and institutional control of the athletics program. She currently serves as the Chair of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Steering Committee and is a member of the NCAA Academic Requirements Committee.
In addition to her FAR duties, Jorn serves as Co-Advisor for the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) with Truman State Assistant Athletics Director - Compliance Geoff Bruder. SAAC organizes events such as the kid’s camp Basics with Bulldogs and the "Dogspys" annual athlete award show.
Jorn is an Instructor in Exercise Science and a former Track and Field/Cross Country athlete at Truman State.
