The Bulldogs matched a school season record with 77 stolen bases with three over the weekend. Paul Trenhaile regained his team lead in hitting after going 5-of-11 in the series. Trenhaile raised his average to .371 which is the highest by a Bulldog in a season since Pat Hardin hit .382 in 2005.

The Bulldog took an early lead as Paul Trenhaile tripled to the right field corner and then scored on a wild pitch.

Jarrett Eiskina fanned Eric Garza to end the fourth inning with two runners aboard. It was Eiskina's 150th career strikeout moving him to third all-time on the Truman list passing Bulldog major leaguer Dave Wehrmeister. He is two away from second all-time and the spot occupied by Bulldog great Al Nipper.

Eiskina got the first out in the fifth but two walks, a pair of hit batsmen led to the home run by Henderson. Tyler Spencer was greeted with a homer from Malloy which was the final run scored in the Bronchos 6-2 win.
