Men's Soccer Falls 2-1 at USI

EVANSVILLE, Ind. - - The Truman men's soccer team controlled the pace of play for much of the night, but Southern Indiana made its two shots on goal count, as the Screaming Eagles handed the Bulldogs a 2-1 road defeat on Friday evening.
 
USI (5-6-2, 3-6-2 GLVC) scored in the 59th minute on its first shot on goal, then put away the game-winner in the 85th minute on its second shot on goal. Truman (6-8, 5-6 GLVC) drew even in the 71st on an unassisted goal by Corey Nolte and out-shot USI 12-9 overall on the night.
 
Josh Hall, Brian Kane, and David McCoy each were credited with two shots for Truman, who wraps up its last regular season road trip on Sunday at Bellarmine at 1:30 p.m. (CT).
