Patterson Notches 1,000th Kill in Loss at Drury

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - - Senior Ali Patterson became the 15th player to record 1,000 career kills as a Truman volleyball player on Saturday afternoon, but the Bulldogs suffered their third straight loss in a 3-0 defeat at Drury.
 
The Bulldogs (13-9, 6-5 GLVC West) hit .162 as a team, while DU (16-8, 6-5 GLVC West) countered at .266 for the match. Junior Kayla Bastian finished with nine kills and six digs, while senior Abby Heise hit .400 with six kills to go alongside 12 assists, nine digs, and a block. Junior Kayleen Green's 14 assists were a Bulldog-high, while Wandrey's 14 digs and senior Sadie Pafford's 10 marked the two Bulldogs in double-figures defensively.

Patterson now sits at 1,002 career kills in 123 career matches, as the two-time AVCA all-American has averaged 2.28 kills and 0.97 blocks per set throughout her Bulldog career.
 
Truman will return to action on Tuesday (Oct. 27) night in Pershing Arena to host Missouri Western in a non-conference tilt at 7 p.m.
