Truman hit .250 as a team and sided-out at a 67.8% clip to limit UMSL rallies, while the Tritons countered at .063 hitting and 52.7% side-out.

Junior Kayla Bastian had four kills and three digs, while Patterson added three kills, two aces, and a block. Bailey O'Drobinak put down two kills and had 2.5 blocks (two solo) for the 'Dogs in the frame.
  • The second set was much tighter, as the teams exchanged eight ties and four lead changes in the 25-22 Bulldog win. Truman hit just .167 but again held UMSL down to a .022 attack line. Six different Bulldogs recorded kills in the set, led by three apiece from Patterson and Hill.
  • After the intermission, the teams sided-out at strong clips against each other, with neither team gaining separation until a 6-0 Bulldog blast turned a 15-all score into a 21-15 Truman lead. The Bulldogs would go on to win the set, 25-21, with senior Abby Heise and freshman Bailey Mason putting down four kills each.
  • Patterson was the top point scorer on the night with 13, coming on a 9-0-14 (.643) hitting line with four block assists, three digs, and two aces.
  • Hill set a new career-high with her eight kills, as she committed just one error to hit .636 on 11 swings. She added three block assists for 9.5 total points.
  • Both Bastian and Heise finished with seven kills. Bastian dug a team-high 13 UMSL attempts, while Heise finished with 20 assists and eight digs.
  • Junior Kayleen Green had 19 assists and nine digs, while freshman Claire Wandrey hit double-figures with 10 digs of her own along the back line.
