KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - The Truman men's and women's swimming teams had no problem taking care of business on Saturday afternoon in some home dual action against Lindenwood-Belleville. The men defeated the Lynx 169-85 and the women followed suit, 178-67. Both squads won a combined 27 events including 13 for the women and 14 for the men.

Kortney Betz turned in lifetime bests in the 200 fly and mile, respectively.
Head coach
Ed Pretre and his staff felt good about the day's results and had this to say: "The coaching staff felt that this was a great tune-up for our upcoming invite at Northwestern in two weeks. Overall, the team was focused and positive. If we can continue to do this on a consistent basis, there is no telling what they can accomplish in February."
Next up, the Purple and White will compete in the aforementioned TYR Invite in Evanston, Ill. on Friday, Nov. 18 through Sunday, Nov. 20.
