KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The #25 Bulldog Women's Soccer team remained undefeated on the season and shutout their fifth straight opponent in a 3-0 Great Lakes Valley Conference match over the University of Southern Indiana on Sunday afternoon.

Kelsey Murphy picked up her second big goal of the weekend in the 56th minute to crack the scoring column. Allison Lockett played a ball forward to Hanna Burke who then laid it across to the left for Murphy. The shot ricocheted off the cross bar and down into the goal. The assistant referee signaled the ball into the net as there was some immediate confusion on the shot.  Murphy had the overtime game winner on Friday against #9 Bellarmine.

Delaney Kooken pounded a shot into the net off a corner kick from Danielle Beers for an insurance goal in the 69th minute then scored again in the 87th minute. Kooken's third goal of the year came from Megan Oostendorp as she followed her initial shot and slipped the rebound into the net.

Truman had 15 total shots with 10 on goal.

On the other end of the field, the staunch Bulldog defenders (Casey Maloney, Isabel Kurzban, Caity Schmitt and Laura Ney) in front of keeper Katie Mattingly allowed a total of 11 shots with three on goal by the Screaming Eagles.

The Bulldogs will remain home next weekend when Drury (Mo.) pays a visit on Friday afternoon (1 p.m.) and Missouri S&T comes calling at noon on Sunday.
