QUOTABLES
Truman Head Coach Jerod Simek
"This meet was a nice start to our conference meets with some strong swims. It was our first chance to swim some 200 strokes before our mid-season meet in November. We were really impressed with our freshmen stepping up on relays and making their presence known.
Maisy Kurucz had strong swims in the 200 free and relay splits. For the men,
Grant Lair had solid swims and
Connor Neils swam well with a tough double! We look forward to our next conference competition next week against William Jewell."
UP NEXT
Next up, as mentioned by coach Simek, the men and women will both host William Jewell on Saturday, Oct. 20 with the action set to begin at 1 p.m.
