QUOTABLES
Truman Head Coach Jerod Simek
"This was our teams' last chance to swim some hundred strokes before a mid-season meet and they took full advantage of their opportunity. We had some lifetime-best times and very good seed times heading into our mid-season meet in just under a month.
Maggie Hickey had a very good 100 fly and
Jack McKenzie put up a personal best in that event as well."
"Our men's team accomplished their goal of winning every single event and the women were very close too getting touched out in just two of their events. Overall, it was a very good team performance and we are very excited moving into our mid-season meet. We have one more competition against Saint Louis and Lindenwood-Belleville as well as two more weeks to put some final touches on our races before we taper down for mid-season."
UP NEXT
As mentioned by Simek, Truman will compete in a Saint Louis Tri-Meet on Saturday, Nov. 3 against the Billikens and Lynx with the action set to begin at 2 p.m.
