RECAP: Softball Sweeps Westminster on the Road

FULTON, Mo. - After having five games cancelled at Trevecca Nazarene's Music City Invitational that were scheduled for this week, the Truman State University softball team picked up a doubleheader with Division III Westminster College on Thursday afternoon. The Bulldogs run ruled the Blue Jays twice including 8-0 in five innings and 10-0 in six innings.

Next up, the Purple and White will play a pair of neutral games on Sunday at Westminster's field. Truman will face a couple GLVC foes including Missouri S&T at 10 a.m. and Quincy at 2 p.m. The Miners and Hawks will see each other for the noon game.
