RECAP: Tennis Falls At Missouri Valley

MARSHALL, Mo. – The Truman Tennis teams fell on the road Monday to Missouri Valley College. The men lost 8-1 and the women lost 6-3 to the Vikings.
 
Doubles team Grant Burton and Jack Miller picked up the only point in Truman's loss to Missouri Valley. They defeated Benedict Voelker and Luca Walter by an 8-0 score.
 
The women got wins from number one singles player Maura Dunn, a 6-2, 6-3 winner and number six singles player Emily Kickham, a 6-1, 6-1 victor. Finessa Rassel and Kayla Peterson won 8-3 in number two doubles for the other team point.
 
Truman will split up this weekend with the men heading to Quincy for a tournament and the women staying home for a tournament on Saturday.
