Jaden Barr & Jake Floyd Named CoSIDA Academic All-District

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – A pair of senior Truman Football players have been selected as first team Academic All-District by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Quarterback Jaden Barr and defensive tackle Jake Floyd will now move to the Academic All-America ballot.
 
 
Barr enters his final regular season game on Saturday as Truman's career leader in touchdowns responsible for with 79 and 107 yards away from becoming the Bulldog record holder in total offensive yards. He is second among active Division II players in plays from scrimmage with 1,530 in 43 games and fourth in total offense and fifth in pass completions. Barr was the GLVC Freshman of the Year and second team all-league quarterback in 2016 and a four-time Academic All-GLVC performer. Barr is completing his master's degree in Leadership and is originally from California, Missouri. 
 
 
Floyd will be taking the gridiron for his 40th game on Saturday and has been one of the stalwarts on the defensive line for the past four seasons. This year, Floyd has 29 total tackles with five tackles for loss and three sacks. Floyd is a Justice System major from Columbia, Missouri.
