KIRKSVILLE, Mo. — Nine Truman State football players have been named to the 2026 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society, the NFF announced in April. Connor Baxley, Hunter Biesemeyer, Jack Butchko, Jacob Carmack, Noah Copeland, Mason Crim, Parker Erickson, Robert Goehl, and Michael Rouse all earned the honor, which recognizes college football players across all divisions who have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher throughout their careers.
The 2026 class is the largest in the program's 20-year history, with a record 2,633 honorees representing 369 schools and carrying an average GPA of 3.57. The NFF Hampshire Honor Society has now recognized 23,605 student-athletes from 692 schools since its founding in 2007.
"Twenty years ago, college coaches around the country came to the National Football Foundation asking us to recognize not just their top student-athlete, but the numerous student-athletes on their teams who were also excelling at the highest levels in the classroom," said NFF President and CEO Steve Hatchell. "Their voices led to the creation of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society, and two decades later, the results speak for themselves."
Truman State contributed nine valuable members towards a record setting 276 Division II honorees in 2026.
