KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The Bulldog Women's Basketball team will look to rebound following their first loss of the season when they host Avila University at 5:30 p.m. on Friday evening in Pershing Arena.

Truman suffered an 83-62 setback at the hands of Augustana (S.D.) on Saturday in Kirksville. Maddie Re recorded her first double-double of the season in 11 points and 12 rebounds and Sloane Totta chipped in a game-high 14 points but the Bulldogs trailed the entire game with the third quarter being the major difference as Augustana outscored Truman 20-9.

Avila is off to their best start in five years at 3-0. They knocked off Southwestern (Kan.) 67-59 on Wednesday night behind 23 points from leading scorer Paige Bunn.
