PDF Notes | Links to Video/Stats will be found on the schedule page once they have been finalized.

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – For the first time in Truman Football history, the Bulldogs will take the field in the month of December, as they will face Ohio Dominican in the inaugural America's Crossroads Bowl on Saturday afternoon in Hobart, Indiana.

The bowl game will pit the Great Lakes Valley Conference and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference against each other. The Bulldogs come in with a 9-2 record while the Panthers enter at 7-2.

It is the first postseason game for Truman since the 1994 Division II playoffs and only third bowl game in school history. The Bulldogs have played in the NCAA playoffs in 1982, 1990, 1992 and 1994 while the bowl appearances were the 1961 Mineral Water Bowl and the 1980 Shrine Classic. Truman is 2-0 in the bowl games with wins over Parsons (Iowa) 22-8 in 1961 and 17-14 over Pittsburg State in 1980. The latest in a calendar that Truman fielded a team was two games on November 30. The first was in 1916, a 92-0 win over Northwest Missouri and again in 1922, a 13-6 at Central Missouri.

Since their 24-14 win at Urbana on November 16, postseason honors have been rolling in for the Bulldogs. Senior Sam Reeves was named one of eight finalists for the Gene Upshaw Division II Lineman of the Year award, which we be announced on Wednesday, December 4th. Reeves was one of 15 Bulldogs named all-GLVC by league coaches and one of seven first-team honorees. Reeves became only the fifth Bulldog player and first since 1965 to earn first team all-conference four times. He is the active leader among all NCAA players in quarterback sacks with 40.5 and will finish in the top 10 in Division Ii after his 45th game on Saturday.

Reeves was joined on the first team by leading rusher Jordan Salima, offensive lineman Jacob Van Doren, defensive tackle Jake Floyd, linebacker Reed McBroom, defensive back Jordan Siegel and punter Taylor Cornish

Quarterback Jaden Barr along with linemen Dane Eggert, Jacob Lewis, running back Cody Schrader, fullback Jacob Morris, defensive back Travis Myerson and kicker Josh Scheiderer were second team honorees and tight end Jake Ellis was an honorable mention. Barr and Floyd were also named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District first team with Academic All-America honors being announced next week.

Ohio Dominican placed 20 on the GMAC all-league team including the Special Teams Player of the Year in punter Logen Neidhardt. It was the second straight year in which Neidhardt won the award. The ODU defense had six players on the first team as the squad led the GMAC in points allowed at 17.1 per game. The Panthers enter the bowl on a five-game winning streak, allowing 10 points or fewer in each of the five games.
