Men's Basketball to Host Two Camps this Summer

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - Truman State University men's basketball head coach, Jeff Horner, and his coaching staff will be hosting two camps this summer including a kids camp and elite camp in the months of June and August. Details can be found for each of the three below.

Kids Camp | June 3-6 | Brochure/Registration
For boys entering grades 3-5, Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. each day and the camp will run from 8 a.m.-10 a.m. As for boys entering grades 6-8, registration will start at 10 a.m. and that camp will run from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. each day. The cost is $120/player, which includes a TSU Basketball t-shirt and skill instruction/fundamental breakdown. This camp provides a meaningful experience for campers by insuring every individual receives specific fundamentals-based instruction from a highly respected and knowledgeable camp staff.

Elite Camp | August 10 | Brochure/Registration
This camp is for college-bound boys and registration will begin at 12 p.m. with the camp running from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. inside Pershing arena. The cost is $90/player and campers will receive a t-shirt, skill development drills/athletic testing as well as an opportunity to be seen by regional college coaches. This camp is an opportunity for the college-bound players to showcase their individual and team skills while learning what it takes to compete at the next level. The coaches want players who are serious about pursuing a collegiate career.
