The Truman State Men's Basketball program is hosting a full slate of summer camps in 2026, offering structured development opportunities for youth players, high school prospects, and college-level athletes looking for exposure. All camps are organized through Higher Aim Camps in partnership with the Truman State coaching staff and held on the Truman State University campus at Pershing Arena, 1300 S. Florence, Kirksville, MO 63501.

Registration forms must be emailed to HIGHERAIMCAMPS@GMAIL.COM. Every participant must complete the required release and waiver forms before taking the court — no exceptions. Questions can be directed to (660) 956-1017.
Prospect ID Camp — April 25 & May 23 Price: $75 per camper | Who: Entering grades 9–12
High school players entering grades 9 through 12 have two chances to compete in front of Truman State's coaching staff this spring. Campers choose either April 25 or May 23. This camp gives current high school athletes a direct look at Division II college basketball and an opportunity to be evaluated by the Truman State staff in a competitive setting. Campers should provide their high school head coach and AAU or other coach as references on the registration form. Visibility Camp — May 2 Price: $75 per camper | Who: Post-graduate, 4-year college, and JUCO players
The Visibility Camp is geared toward players with remaining eligibility who are looking for a new opportunity at the college level. Registrants must provide contact information for their previous school's head coach and an additional coach reference. All participants are 18 or older and will complete the adult release agreement. High School Team Camp — June 10–11 Price: $225 per team (1 day) | $375 per team (2 days) | Who: JV and Varsity teams
The two-day Team Camp at Pershing Arena brings together JV and Varsity programs from across the region for high-level competition officiated by certified college and high school officials. The event is held in conjunction with a small-conference officiating clinic. Teams can register for one day or both and choose from several package levels:
- Commuter, No Meals — 2 Days: 5 games & t-shirt ($375/team)
- Commuter, No Meals — 1 Day: 3 games & t-shirt ($225/team)
- Commuter with Dining Hall — 2 Days: 5 games, 4 meals & t-shirt (contact for pricing)
- Commuter with Dining Hall — 1 Day: 3 games, 2 meals & t-shirt (contact for pricing)
- Residential Overnight — 2 Days: 5 games, dorm room, 4 meals & t-shirt (contact for pricing)
Teams must have a minimum of 8 players; 8–10 players is ideal. The camp schedule will be released by June 3. Teams should check in at least one hour before their first game. T-shirt sizes must be submitted by May 1 to guarantee on-time delivery — teams registering after May 1 will have shirts mailed after camp. Youth Camp — June 23–25 Price: $175 per camper | Who: Entering grades 3–8
The Youth Camp runs June 23–25 and is divided into two age-appropriate sessions held each day. Every camper receives a t-shirt and a Truman State basketball.
- Session 1 — Entering grades 3–5: 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM
- Session 2 — Entering grades 6–8: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Parents should note their child's entering grade level and select the appropriate session on the registration form. Any relevant health information for emergency situations should also be included. How to Register
Download the appropriate camp form on the camps page, complete all required fields, and email it to HIGHERAIMCAMPS@GMAIL.COM. All participants must complete a General Release and Indemnity Agreement — players under 18 require a parent or legal guardian signature. All participants must also acknowledge the Permission to Treat Statement, which authorizes Truman State to seek emergency medical treatment on a participant's behalf if needed. Medical expenses remain the responsibility of the participant and their family.
