RECAP: Rockhurst Sweeps Truman Tennis Monday

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – Rockhurst University defeated the Truman Tennis teams in a pair of Great Lakes Valley Conference dual matches on Monday afternoon by 7-0 scores.
 
The Hawks swept through the doubles matches on the men's side to take the 1-0 lead by 6-0 scores then won all six matches in straight sets. The tightest match was at number two with Nick Thiele falling by 6-4, 6-4 to Masao Perret.
 
The Rockhurst women took the doubles point by winning the three matches by scores of 6-1, 6-1 and 6-2. The Hawks cruised to victory in singles taking all six matches. Maura Dunn fell 6-1, 6-4 to Sam Czarnecki at number one.
 
The Bulldogs continue conference play on Friday with a match at Missouri-St. Louis.
