RECAP: Truman Drops Road Tilt To UINDY 1-0

INDIANAPOLIS – The Truman Women's Soccer team fell 1-0 to the University of Indianapolis on Friday evening on the road. The Bulldogs are now 2-3-1 overall, 2-2 in the GLVC and will host Bellarmine (Ky.) on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
 
The Greyhounds' Lexi Turner came off the bench in the first half and scored in the 34th minute for the contest's only goal.
 
Statistically, it was a fairly even and conservative affair with each team registering three shots on goal for the 90 minutes and 15 total shots between the two teams. Truman had seven shots total and UINDY had eight.
 
The Bulldogs had seven corner kicks with four coming in the second half. Faith Branson and Hanna Liljegren had both shots on goal in the period with Greyhound keeper Laura Shake making the saves.
