KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – A goal with 2:21 seconds left in the second overtime gave the Bellarmine Knights a 1-0 victory over the Truman Women's Soccer team on Sunday afternoon at Stokes Stadium.
 
Samantha Ferry corralled a pass about 30 yards out on the right side and hit a rocket that found bounced and caught the top left corner of the net past keeper Beth Hopwood for the winner.
 
Bellarmine had a decided advantage on shots at 19-4 and on goal at 8-2. The Bulldogs had some opportunities in the second extra period with three of their four shots coming in the eight minutes prior to the goal being scored. Isabel Kurzban had her shot sail high, Faith Branson had it blocked up top and Hanna Burke's shot was stopped by keeper Elyssa Francis.
 
Truman falls to 2-4-1 overall and 2-3-0 in the GLVC.
