NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Truman Cross Country teams competed at the Division II Showcase at Trevecca Nazarene in Nashville on Saturday morning. The women placed fourth out of 11 schools with 109 points. The men were sixth scoring 171points.

Carly Garnett was the pace setter for the women as she ran the five-kilometer course in 19:25.1. The five scorers were separated by less than a minute and adding in the two non-scoring runners, there was about a minute and a half spread between all Truman runners.
Madeline Bostick was next at 19:41.4 and good for 21
st.
Emily Harl scored 22 points at 19:44.9,
Lily Ende was next with 24 points and 20:10.5 and
Maddie Lee completed the scoring with 25 points in a time of 20:20.7.

Nathan Key and
Thomas Cormier flip-flopped leading the team from the last race. Key was the top placer with 27 points and a time on the 8K course of 26:34.5. Cormier was next to finish at 26:56.7 and scored 32 points.
Isaac Saathoff was the third 'Dog across the line with a time of 27:14.3.
Nathan Stinson and
Branden Schaff were the other Truman scorers with 38 and 39 points respectively.

The Bulldogs will compete next in Jacksonville, Illinois and the Illinois College Invitational on October 12.
