Men's "B" Results | Women's "A" Results

ELSAH, Ill. - On championship Saturday at the Great Lakes Valley Conference meet, the Truman men won their race with Tom Cormier and Nathan Key finishing first and second respectively while Carly Garnett paced the women's team to a seventh place finish in the women's "A" race.

Cormier won the men's "B" race going away with a time on the eight kilometer course of 26:21.04. Key was the next runner to finish at 26:48.29. The Bulldogs had five runners in the top 10 in the race with Nathan Stinson (27:31.65) crossing in sixth, Carson Rohan (27:48.55) in seventh and Ryan Harness (28:14.77) placing ninth.

The Bulldogs scored 15 points to win the five-team race with Rockhurst second at 59. Missouri-St. Louis (69), William Jewell (87) and McKendree (129) rounded out the teams in the "B" race.

The women qualified for the championship or "A" race after their showing in the West Divisional qualifier two weeks back. Garnett was the first Truman runner to finish the 6K track in a time of 23:24.41. Lily Ende was 37th posting a time of 23:35.47. Madeline Bostick (23:39.54) was 39th, Addie Mathis (23:39.86) was 40th and Maddie Lee (24:27.97) and 52nd rounded out the Bulldog top five runners. 

The men's conference championship was claimed by Lewis University while Southwest Baptist nabbed the women's title.

This was the final race of the season as the NCAA regional and national championship races were eliminated this fall due to COVID concerns.
