LOUISVILLE – The Truman Cross Country teams competed in one of the largest events in the Midwest on Saturday as the Bulldogs took to Louisville, Kentucky for the Louisville Classic.

The event was held at a past national championship course for Division I Cross Country at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park and featured three separate (Blue, Gold, Silver) divisions with over 120 men's and women's collegiate programs represented with upwards of 2,300 individual runners.

The Truman State women scored 606 points in the 5K Blue Division race good for 21
st out of 47 teams. Freshman
Breanna Mathes was the Bulldogs top finisher with a time of 19:02.6 and crossed the finish line in 85
th position.
Cora Stimpson was next at 19:20.5 and in 117
th place.
Kate Yates was third on the team in 134
th with a time of 19:28.6,
Addie Mathis was next in 144
th timing 19:32.3, Lexy Hendrikson finished in 19:33.4, good for 147
th.
