KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - Truman State volleyball lost to University of Indianapolis in five sets on Saturday.
After winning the first sets 22-25 and 25-16, the Bulldogs dropped the next two 25-15 and and 25-21 to take it into the fifth set.
UIndy went up 3-0 in the fifth set before Truman scored three straight to tie it up. The two teams traded points to make it 9-8 UIndy, then the Greyhounds pulled away and scored six of the next 10 points to secure the victory.
Annabelle Crowder and Jessica Proszenyak led the Bulldogs in kills with 13 each, followed by Hanna Berry with 11.
Proszenyak had a great game serving with four aces.
Emma Baierl had a season-high 40 assists, beating her previous high of 30.
Volleyball travels to Lewis University for their next game on Friday, October 7, at 6:00 p.m.
