Kozol's Equalizer Leads To Truman Draw

QUINCY, Ill. - With Truman down 1-0, Jessica Kozol scored a goal in the 59th minute that led to a 1-1 draw against GLVC opponent Quincy University.

Quincy's Tatum Brookhart scored in the 33rd minute to give the Hawks the lead before Kozol tied it up.

Kozol had two shots on goal in the game, and Kristin Stein recorded Truman's third.

Quincy managed to get seven shots on goal, and Truman goalkeepers Beth Hopwood and Tatumn Damron combined to save six. Hopwood kept four shots out of the goal and Damron saved two.

The Bulldogs play their final regular season away match at Rockhurst University on Friday, October 21, at 5 p.m.
