ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Truman Tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Missouri Western on Friday. The Bulldogs will close out their fall season on Tuesday, October 11th with a road tilt against Grand View (Iowa) in Des Moines.
Kennedy Shirey and Calli Hepfinger lost a lost 6-3 decision at number three doubles as the Griffons took numbers one and two by 6-0 set scores to pick up the first team point.
The Griffons won the first five singles matches in straight sets while Abbi Worster battled to a tough and hard-fought 6-2, 5-7, 18-16 defeat to Ellie Messenger of Missouri Western at number six.
