MARSHALL, Minn. - Four of Truman's five starters scoring double-digit points led to a 64-63 win against Southwest Minnesota State University.
The Bulldogs went into the half down 41-25, shooting 11-30 (36.7%) from the field.
Truman had a phenomenal second half on both sides of the ball, going 13-27 shooting and holding SMSU to only eight made shots the entire half. The Bulldogs outscored the Mustangs 39-22 in the half to come out with a one-point win.
Dylan Peeters had a team-high 14 points on 6-7 shooting along with six rebounds.
Elijah Hazekamp scored double-digit points for the fourth time this scoring, putting up 12-6-2.
Hunter Strait and Xavier Hall both scored 11 points each. Hall had a team-high four assists in the game.
