KENOSHA, Wis. - The Truman State cross country teams competed in the NCAA Midwest Regional held on the campus of UW-Parkside Saturday morning.
The Men's team finished 20th out of 30 schools, with Nathan Key placing 81st out of 200 runners. Key ran the 10K with a time of 33:08.91. Evan AuBuchon finished inside the top 100 as well, placing 91st with a time of 33:16.80.
Jacob Gutzman was the third Bulldog to cross in 126th (34:03.33) followed by Ryan Harness in 132nd (34:11.79), Josh Engle (154th/35:05.22), Max Fuller (182nd/36:34.20) and Sam Kallaos (187th/37:22.74).
The Women finished 18th of the 33 schools that competed. Breanna Mathes and Addie Mathis led the way for Truman. Mathes finished 84th and ran the 6K in 23:30.45., and Mathis placed 87th and ran it in 23:33.59. Cora Stimpson was 103rd at 23:45.24, Lexy Henrikson was 107th at 23:50.61, Kate Yates placed 109th at 23:51.81. The final two Bulldog runners were Kati Schoeneberg (149th/24:45.26) and Reese Howard (168th/23:34.53).
