CHICAGO – Adelaide Reaser and
AJ Kohler led the Truman State Swimming teams at the Phoenix Fall Classic over the weekend. The Truman State women placed fourth and the men fifth out of 14 schools across all three collegiate divisions.

Truman State women score 675 points scored with two event wins and three third place finishes. The men tallied 347 points.
AJ Kohler had a first and third place individual finish and
Jacob Pocivasek took home a silver medal.

Kohler edged out Chicago's Arthur Kiselnikov in the A Final of the 200 free with a time of 1:37.10 and then grabbed the bronze in the 200 fly with a time of 1:49.06.

Pocivasek scored his second place medal in the 50 free with a time of 20.70. He was also in the A final of the 100 free and placed seventh with a time of 46.05.

Adelaide Reaser won both Truman individual events with a first place in the 500 free and the 400 IM. Reaser has the second fastest time in the 500 free coming out of the prelims at 4:57.35 then bettered that time in the final with a 4:55.05 and cruised to a three second win over a pair of swimmers from Division I Saint Louis University.

Meg Heveroh was also in the A Final of the 500 free and finished ninth with a time of 5:07.19.

Reaser swam a personal best time of 4:20.68 and blitzed the field by 13 seconds in the 400 IM. Reaser's time is the second fastest in Division II at the moment. She was joined in the A Final by teammate
Sidney Durbin, who placed sixth (4:40.71.). The bronze came in the 200 fly with a time of 2:06.17 with Durbin placing 10
th at 2:13.58.

Emily Traube scored points in three events, the 50 free (5
th/23.90), the 100 free (4
th/51.95) and the 200 free (9
th/1:54.08). Chloe Myers did the same only in the 100 breast (4
th/1:05.16), 200 breast (7
th/2:25.53) and 200 IM (9
th/2:11.37).

The other third place finish for the women was swam by
Holly Olson in the 100 fly (56.18).

The Bulldogs will take a pause for the winter holidays and return to action with duals against Missouri S&T (men only) on January 14
th and William Jewell (both squads) on January 20
th.
